Herts Bowling Club is a private members club with all funds retained for further development. It is registered "Community Amateur Sports Club"

Incorporated in 1912 the club moved to its present purpose built facility in 1989.
There are approximately 700 members (550 men and 150 women). 150 are full members playing both outdoors and indoors. The balance is indoor only members.
